Rwanda: Interview - Military Tortured Civilians

[HRW] Rwanda's military has repeatedly tortured detainees, beating them, asphyxiating them, using electric shocks and even staging mock executions. Most of the people detained were civilians suspected of working with armed groups. Some were former fighters. Audrey Wabwire speaks with Lewis Mudge, a Human Rights Watch researcher, about the years of research that went into the new report, "We Will Force You to Confess," and what we learned of Rwanda's illegal military detention centers.
