'Saturday Night Live' took 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' to dark and weird places this week

The internet loves Fresh Prince of Bel-Air nostalgia, so it seems pretty clear Saturday Night Live created this parody just for us.

In the sketch's redone and significantly expanded Fresh Prince opening credits, Chris Redd-as-Will Smith weaves a suspenseful tale. The west Philadelphia troubles that sent him packing to sunny Bel-Air came with a side of vengeance from the local gun-and-drug-running gang he crossed.
