Delicious Super Bowl recipes you can make without a Crock-Pot

Crock-Pot didn't ask for this. 

After last Tuesday's This Is Us episode ended with a Crock-Pot fire that could, in all likelihood, lead to the impending death of a beloved main character, the slow cooker company was forced to do major damage control.

Though Crock-Pots are actually quite safe, the episode had us resenting the perfectly fine appliance for its (potential) role in our favorite character's devastating demise.
