HBO's 'Chernobyl' tries to comprehend one of history's worst man-made disasters

"A just world is a sane world. There was nothing sane about Chernobyl."

That mildly sums up one of history's worst man-made disasters, the subject of HBO's new five-part miniseries coming in May.

Detailed in an intense new trailer, Chernobyl will dramatize the events surrounding the devastating explosion that occurred at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, Soviet Union on April 26, 1986.

The frightening-looking series will focus on the stories of those involved in the events and affected by the fallout, played by Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, Emily Watson, Paul Ritter, Jessie Buckley, and more. Read more...
