There's going to be a 'Mario Kart' game for smartphone

It's been a good week for Nintendo announcements.

On Wednesday Nintendo used Twitter to announce the next instalment in the Mario Kart legacy.

The checkered flag has been raised and the finish line is near. A new mobile application is now in development: Mario Kart Tour! #MarioKartTour Releasing in the fiscal year ending in March 2019pic.twitter.com/8GIyR7ZM4z
