Apple's next iPad could get the iPhone X treatment — with one major difference

Apple's next iPad could look a lot like the iPhone X. 

The company's next iPad Pro could ditch the home button for thinner bezels and Face ID, according to code uncovered from the latest iOS 12 beta.

The code was first discovered by 9to5Mac, which found a new iPad icon that appears to show an iPad Pro with smaller bezels and no home button. Notably, there's no notch visible in the icon — possibly because the tablet's thin bezels are big enough to accommodate the sensors without carving out part of the display.
