Garmin recently announced the latest additions to its lineup of wearables — the Fenix 6 collection of GPS smartwatches — and man, do they look snazzy. According to Mashable's Stan Schroeder, each new Fenix 6 device (there are a dozen total) features a battery performance manager, a pacing strategy tool, and a "frightening array" of trackers and sensors for, like, every activity you can think of. There's even a model with built-in solar charging — a first for a Garmin smartwatch.
To mark the occasion, Amazon is currently offering a handful of discounts on previous-generation Fenix 5 smartwatches, including the series' three core models: the Fenix 5, 5S, and 5X. They typically retail for $499.99 to $749.99 apiece (the Fenix 6 starts at $599.99, for comparison's sake), but the retail giant's sale will save you as much as 36% depending on the variant you choose.
