Here's where you can still buy a thermometer amid coronavirus shortages

As the new coronavirus outbreak causes nationwide retailers to sell out of supplies like toilet paper, canned goods, hand sanitizer, and face masks, you'd think thermometers would be especially hard to find right now, right?

Well, sort of. While Walmart, Best Buy, and Target are all completely sold out, Amazon still has a bunch of digital oral thermometers and a handful of those fancy infrared/"no-touch" ones in stock as of March 20. (The only type of thermometer that *wasn't* widely available on the site the last time we checked was the traditional glass variety, but you probably don't want one of those, anyway — they're super fragile.)  Read more...
